HOMEWOODS FINAL STAKE Stars of Older Division Expected to Meet in Francis S. Peabody Memorial Next Saturday. Washington Parks thirty-day spring meeting ends next Saturday, the concluding feature being the Francis S. Peabody Memorial. The final week promises to maintain the high class racing which began with the running on May 27 of the Washington Park Handicap, followed by the Debutante Stakes on Decoration Day, May 30; the Robert M. Sweitzer Handicap, June 1 ; the Thomas Curran Memorial, June 8 ; the American Derby, June 15, and the Illinois Oaks, June 22. The Francis S. Peabody Memorial, a handicap, distance one mile and a quarter, radiates the top standard among thoroughbreds in the three-year-old and upward division. When, on April 15, entries closed for this race the number was ninety-five. The bulk of highly regarded performers was included in the list of nominees. That the field will bring together many of the best in training is assured. Joseph McLennan, racing secretary, believes this handicap will develop into one of the outstanding races of the year. Possibilities include Bartlestein and Unnas Golden Pr.nce, winner of the Coffroth Handicap ; Aden Farms Sun Edwin, Arden Farm Stables Easter Stoekings, E. R. Bradleys Boo, J. X. Camdens Hydromel, one, perhaps two, wearing the silks of W. R. Coe ; Mrs. E. Denemarks Blackwood, Robert L. Gerrys Ironsides, F. M. Grabners Chicago, to be ridden by L. McDermott ; Judge C. W.
