S ] LATONIA TURF NOTES I s $ LATONIA. Ky., June 24. It is altogether likely that while a division of the stable of E. B. McLean goes to Saratoga for the August meeting, there the others will be rested up here under the direction of Jimmy Mooney. Silverdale, which participated in the Ohio Derby at Bainbridge Park last Saturday, was due back here today. Jockey Karl Pool returned from Washington Park, where he rode R. S. Clarks Current in the Illinois Oaks. He reported that Current, together with J. N. Camdens Rose of Sharon, which accounted for the above mentioned stake, will be returned here Tuesday. Both fillies are expected to contest the renewal of the Latonia Oaks, coming up on the closing day of the meeting. C. A. Marone brought four two-year-olds and J. D. Stevens three older horses from Bainbridge Park. Several other stables are expected to arrive here from the near Cleveland track tomorrow morning.
