t PIMLICO TURF NOTES I v : J BALTIMORE, Md., April 28. Mortimer Slalioney distributed among the horsemen the condition books and stake, blanks for the fixtures to be run at the Woodbine meeting. Al Davis returned from Lawrence, Mass.,-where he was called to attend the funeral of his mother. Three of the starters, in the seventh race at Havre de Grace on Saturday changed hands via the claiming route. They were Doctor Fred, which was claimed by O. Proulx for ,750 ; Royal Charge, by Mrs. E. Jackson for ,500, and Blance by J. G. Owens for ,750. The two-year-olds at the Foxcatcher Farm are again being galloped. All were, down with bucked shins at Hare de Grace. These youngsters are Avell fancied by some shrewd judges, who pronounce several of them above the ordinary. They will likely, show up Avell at Pimlico. Several of the horsemen who remained over at Ha-re de Grace will ship from there direct to Toronto. In the consignment that Avill leave for the Woodbine next week are Bert McDonald, G. Alexandra and George Foley. II. J. Johnson has resigned as trainer ot the D. Komie stable. He plans to lea-e for Canada, where he will race a public stable. Jockey, G. Cimerak, who rode at Havre de Grace, changed his plans, and instead of coming to Pimlico left for Aurora. L. Craver will not be seen in action at Pimlico. He left this morning for Canada to await the opening of the Woodbine meeting. Jockeys P. Walls and F. Catrone joined the local riding colony. They were arrivals from New York this morning. R. Smallwood is making P. Walls, J. Se-rio and J. Marinellis engagements at Pimlico and E. Smallwood is looking after the engagements of jockey F. Slate.
