LEXINGTON TURF GOSSIP f LEXINGTON, Ky., April 28. R. L. Rogers left tonight for Aurora, taking seven horses, and was accompanied by apprentice Dupuy. His stable includes An-thel S., Enthusiastic Edward and Big Brother. J. H. Patterson sold at private sale to J. W. McClelland the Sweep filly, Gotta Go-now, which will be retired for breeding purposes and she was removed to N. B. McCIellands Crystal Springs farm. Lloyd Gentry, trainer of the Hatch stable, Sunday wired apprentice G. Riley to leave here for Pimlico and the youngster was due at the Maryland track this morning. Art Goldblatt shipped six of the J. B. Res-pess horses, including the Derby eligible Busy to Churchill Downs, where they will-join the division of the stable going there from Latonia. The plater Sour Mash, owned by Ritte and Corcoran, has been turned over to J. W. Murphy to train. Jockey Herb Fisher has been released from call by the Paradise Stock Farm and will ride free lance. J. J. Russell, whose colors were retired during the winter, today re-entered the owners ranks when he purchased from Mrs. McCrain the three-year-olds Ort W. and Omar Parr. They have been at J. S. Wiggins Military Stock Farm since last fall, and Russell will take them to Latonia, where they, will be prepared for summer campaigning. Roy Carruthers, general manager of Arlington Park, after spending a week here, entrains tonight for Chicago, where he will make an indefinite stay in the interests of the mentioned track. Clyde Van Dusen reported the arrival of a bay filly by Torch Bearer Sunny Sue at his Few Acres Farm. Van Dusen sent twelve horses to Churchill Downs Sunday and eight go today.
