BURNELL AND JOCKEYS PLEAD CASES IN VAIN The Kentucky State Racing Commission in special session at Churchill Downs today again upheld its license committee in deny ¬ ing Willie Pool and Jake Heupel jockeys and Thomas M Bolts trainer licenses and deferred action upon the appeal of Charles E Durnell trainer from the like action of the license committee until the next meeting meetingPool Pool and Heupel appeared before the gov ¬ erning board while Gemmill Senff repre ¬ sented Botts and Wallace Muir assisted Durnell in presenting his case to the com ¬ mission missionThe The entire commission composed of Polk Laffoon chairman S S Combs William E Smith Theodore E Mueller and Frazer Le Bus attended Following the meeting the commissioners and a number of their friends had luncheon in the clubhouse and all re ¬ mained for the racing
