FINNISETTE, a factor throughout, held on well. BL ATOLA showed a good performance. HIS WAY finished well. DONALD raced well throughout. TOREAl.ONG finished resolutely. CANANDAIGLA jumped well, came between the leaders in the last eighth and had plenty of room. MIRBAT ran out. was repeatedly taken up. saved ground, but tired at the end. Won driving; second and third the same. OSCLLATOR, under urging on the outside of the leaders on the elbow, was guided to the inside when ECONOMIC carried UNIVERSE out and was up in the last stride. ECONOMIC, quick to get going, showed early speed and, responding well when called upon, held on gamely. UNIVERSE, fractious at the post, was placed on the outside, began fast, moved into contention with a rush and was going strongly when carried wide. MAKALU improved his position and finished gamely on the outside. ESPINACA was outrun. BLACK JACKET bezsn ;Iowlv. FALL APPLE was outrun and could not get through. SANDY FOPD moved into command at the start, raced FRISIUS into defeat, saved ground and held on well. SIR ASHLEY was under pressure on the stretch turn and held on well. FRISIUS need forwardly for seven eighths, then quit and pulled up sore. GREY COAT was outrun throughout.
