THE DIPPER kept in close attendance of the pace, moved up on the inside, came over on THE DOCTOR in the stretch, forcing the latter to take up and came around, then drew away. THE DOCTOR steadied in back of the pace, moved up fast on the inside through the stretch, was bothered by the winner. bein?r forced to take up. RARE CHARM drew into a good lead, but tired in the stretch run. NEVERMORE was unable to reach the leaders. POLITEN made up some ground. FARR. permitted to race on his own courage the first half mile, was running over horses through the stretch. KATE GEARY went well for the first three-quarters, tiring thereafter. HAM was practically eliminated at the start. THE DIPPER was disqualified for interfering with THE DOCTOR.
