RUTH MARIE appeared sore going to the post, dwelt slightly at -the start, but worked her way up and finished well. PRIN- CESITA was on the outside of the leaders entering the stretch. GOLDEN SWEEP, slow to start, worked his way up on the outside and finished fastest of all. SNIPER moved into command in the stretch, then tired. LADY VIOLA was a factor all the way. HEILBROUN was cut off on the far turn and came again at the end. ONE ALONE was forced back and stumbled on the first turn, recovered and finished well. IKE MANN had no mishaps.
