Whitneys juvenile champion last year due to seven stake victories in all her starts, was nominated Saturday for five of the seven Arlington Park stakes, which close Tuesday. Young Whitney made twenty-three entries in all with Equipoise, one of the three outstanding two-year-olds ! of 1930, being made eligible for the Arling. ton Gold Cup, Arlington Handicap and Stars and Stripes Handicap. The 0,000 Classic drew Top Flights name, as did the 0,000 Arlington Gold Cup, 0,000 Arlington Handicap, 5,000 Arlington Oaks and ,500 Arlington Matron Handicap. In these five races, considering nomination and starting fees, the unbeaten daughter of Dls Done and Flyatit stands to win close to 50,000. She completed her juvenile season with earnings of 19,000, making her the greatest two-year-old winner of nil times, as well as giving her a like distinction for members of her sex. -
