ANCHOR LIGHT, close up from the start, went very wide on the stretch turn, but was good enough to take the lead and hold MOANE KEALA safe. The latter showed a game performance and was close up at the end. EARLY saved ground in the stretch. NIGHT FLASH dashed up to the leaders soon after the start, but tired. BAFFLORETTE, shuffled back on the first turn and again on the far turn, but saved ground in the stretch and finished fast. SOUTHERN BEAUTY showed early speed. FACSIMILE, RUNSHOT and ALMA BORLAND were in close quarters after the start.
