LEXINGTON MAY STAGE TEN DAYS OF RACING i-. 4 LEXINGTON, Ky March 12. Plans are in the making for ten days of racing at the Kentucky Association course, beginning April 16 and closing April 26. It is expected that the state racing commission will sanction these dates at an early meeting. The program book will be issued shortly after the return of judge William H. Shelley to Lexington from New Orleans. He is serving at the Fair Grounds meeting, which closes March 19. He will be racing secretary and principal placing judge here as usual. It is expected that the free list here will be entirely abolished and the admission will be , instead of . The present plan is to issue badges only to trainers, jockeys, grooms, employees and working members of the press. Breeders and owners and all others are to be required to pay at the gate. The free list here had grown to such proportions that it depleted the admission revenue to hardly more than enough to pay for printing the tickets and tearing off the coupons at the gate. All stable room has been reserved and the allotments of stalls is in progress. There is still snow on the ground, but it is rapidly disappearing and the weather is improving, but the mile track is still unavailable for training. It is expected by trainers that they will be back on it next week. During this week they have been using the sand track.
