• AQUEDUCT MEETING IS NEAR i k Twenty-Two Days of Racing Scheduled, Beginning June 10 — Running of the Stake Races. NEW YORK, N. Y, June 6.— With the change of scene from spacious Belmont Park I to the compact and homelike course at Aqueduct on Friday, June 10, racegoers will I sense the fact that thoroughbred racing on i the major Long Island circuit is reaching ; its mid-summer finale. The Queens County r Jockey Clubs meeting at Aqueduct will extend over twenty-two days, June 10 to July T 5, inclusive. Everything is now in readiness to open the season and the thoroughbreds are at the peak of their form. The racing strip and the infield are in fine j shape and president John E. Cowdin and I his staff have spared no effort to have the i plant in the most complete and attractive ! form for the opening of the meeting. The Aqueduct course, with its natural I cushion-like footing, is the training headquarters for some of the noted racing establishments and has graduated many r notable vlnners into the championship class. Trainers consider it one of the best for training and conditioning of thoroughbreds. To enumerate the list of major events down i i k I I i ; r T j I i !
