SIZZLING gained gradually and was racing well at the end, but did not threaten the winner. GLAMOROUS opened up a long lead on the stretch turn, then tired badly in the stretch. SHAKER LADY, quickest to start, opened up a long lead and held sway to the end, although tiring fast. JESSIE CAREY saved ground in the stretch and, under hard riding, was gaining on the winner. FIREFLASH showed early speed and held on fairly well. MILD began slowly, moved up gamely near the stretch, but tired in the final drive. The others were outpaced. TERRY LASS saved ground early, took a good lead entering the stretch, but could not hold it. DUSKY LASS outbroke the others, but dropped back to last place early, then came again.
