I SARATOGA TURF NOTES I 4 The case against B. Conn, an employe of George Arvin, who was arrested for tampering with the horse Panetian, was held over until tomorrow. While Alec Gordon is credited with being the breeder of the stake winner Eva B., she is in reality one of John Sanfords breeding. The filly was sold by that breeder as a foal at foot and bought by Alec Gordon. She is by Blue Pate Esthonia, and a product of the Amsterdam Stud. Happy Scot was declared ineligible for the fourth race Wednesday. The -transfer papers on the horse had not been registered with the racing secretary. Trainer George Odom -reports that the two-year-old Quel Jeu is on the shelf with an infected jaw. The colt ran out in his last two races, and Odom decided upon the use of a run-out bit. The colts jaw was cut slightly and an oat became imbedded in the opening, and later infection set in.
