WOODWARDS FILLY WINS Special Cablegram. DERBY, England, Aug. 30. William Woodwards Brown Betty, rated one of the best juvenile fillies in England this season, won the Champion Breeders Foal Plate, five furlongs, here today. She defeated Lord Woolavingtons Delicia by a length and a half. There were seventeen starters. Brown Betty,, a daughter of Friar Marcus and Gar-. pal, gently won the Nottinghamshire Breeders Foal Plate. She cost owner Woodward ,250 as a yearling at the Doncaster sales a year ago.
