RICHARD JOHNSON STAKES LAUREL, Md., Oct. 7 For the first Saturday of the Maryland State Fair Association meeting there will be a renewal of one of the important juvenile prizes with the running of the Richard Johnson Stakes. This is a condition affair, over the three-quarters distance, to which ,000 is added, and of the 110 nominations that were received, nineteen were named through the entry box today. Should all of these go to the post, the prize will have a gross value of ,650, rather an inviting award for the late fall sport.
