Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third the same. RALLY ROUND showed good speed from the start, but was bearing out slightly entering the stretch and, shaking off DORSAYS, drew away, but bore out near the end. DORSAYS moved up fast early, responded to urging, but tired at the end. BODKIN began slowly, improved his position steadily and finished with a rush. JEAN BROWN raced well and had no excuses. AT POST minute Start good and fast. Won driving; second and third easily. - REGAL FLAG, rushed into contention at the start, forced the early pace, shook off the leaders in the last eighth and held on gamely. PRIZE DAY moved up gamely near the half-mile post, was forced to take up and tired at the end. PEACOCK ALLEY saved ground entering the stretch and finished well. CHIPPER showed a good performance. SULTRY closed a gap at the end. THE GEN tired badly. YANCEY quit under urging. DO NT BLUSH had no mishaps. Scratched 77103Euclid, 114; 77152 Young John, 109; 76002 Sweet Bud, 110. MARTIS took command on the outside near the far turn, but tired badly near the end. UNCANNY had no mishaps. HAPPY SCOT bled.
