1 BUILD CALIFORNIA TRACK BALTIMORE, Md., Nov. 14. John I. Day has received a wire from Joseph M. Smoot offering assurance that the new Santa Anita course, near Los Angeles, will positively be built, and that the work is well under way. The grading is about completed and stables are in the course of erection, with work to start on the grandstand next week. Smoot also wired that the sentiment for racing could not be better and that there will be no delays in the completion of the course.
