POSTPONE ILLINOIS MEETING LATONIA, Ky., Nov. 14. Due to the inability of several members to attend, the special meeting of the Illinois Turf Association which was to have been held in Chicago tomorrow has been called off. The canceled special meeting was called for the express purpose of disposing of the case of Edward McCuan, who is under suspension by the Fairmount Park stewards, J. T. Ireland and J. G. Reeder, pending investigation of the races run by Sobieha at the recent Fair-mount Park meeting. With the special confab off, McCuans difficulties will not be laid before the Illinois body before the next regular meeting, in January. Since his suspension by the Fairmount officials, McCuan received permission to dispose of his horses, either by private or public sale. McCuan plans to keep his stable intact pending the pleasure of the turf association, and has engaged Albert Sabath, Chicago attorney, to present his case.
