ORPEN WITHDRAWS HIS TRACKS TORONTO, Ont., May 9.— A. M. Orpen today tendered his resignation to the incorporated Canadian Racing Associations, which means that the Long Branch Jockey Club and Kenilworth Park Racing Association withdraw their support from the controlling body of the sport in Ontario. Mr. Orpen was opposed to the proposal that salaries be paid to A. E. Dyment as chairman of the governing body and Miss Casserly as secretary from the fund provided out of moneys derived from trainer and jockey license fees and any fines that might accrue from infractions of rules*
