MATE READY FOR TRAINING LEXINGTON, Ky., May 9.— Mate and three two-year-olds were shipped today from Clarkland Farm to A. C. Bostwicks stable at Belmont Park. Mate has been having light gallops over the grass at Clarkland and is ready to go into training. After a good rest he looks good and is said to be in excellent health. A letter from J. O. Keene received today states that three of his horses, including Salut DAmour, had fever after arriving at Washington Park from Lexington, but that they are about over it. The Washington Park track has been muddy and very little work has been done by horses there for the last several days. , — -*
