SHOW BOY, a strong factor from the start, was sent to the front on the turn and, holding on gamely, forced IN C*HANCERY very wide in the stretch, for which he was disqualified. The latter had speed from the start, made the pace for a quarter, was in hand when SHOW BOY went to the front, then came again and probably would have won but for interference. GIMLET moved up gradually and closed gamely. GOOD HARVEST began slowly and closed a big gap. MR. MACK, away fast, tired after half a mile. ALL BAYS had no mishaps. DIVIDE was outrun. STRAIT JACKET, prominent from the start, was in close quarters on the turn, then moved up fast when clear and was overtaking the winner. SUN BOY, strongly urged throughout, showed good form. WILD TURKEY, slow to get going, closed a big gap. SECRET TRYST quit. NORMAN D. tired when urged. BAY SERVANT had early speed. SECLUDED was outrun.
