Won easily ; second and third driving. HANNAH ANNE took the lead at once, increased her advantage in the stretch and won easily. GREEN LOTUS moved up fast after leaving the back stretch. MAPLE SUE lost ground, but finished fast. MINT BIRD, slow to start, was impeded when WILDERNESS WAY was eased up in the stretch. IMPERIAL BLONDY had no mishaps. BUSY STORM, fractious at the start, was forced to pull up when WILDERNESS WAY was eased up. MISS ANGELO was unprepared at the start. WILDERNESS WAY propped and fell back when being saddled in the paddock and was eased up when she favored her left hind leg while holding a contending position in the stretch. STOCK MARKET took command under urging, disposed of PROUD PRINCESS in the drive and won handily. PHANTOM STAR, close up from the start, wore down PROUD PRINCESS in the drive. The latter forced the pace under strong handling, lost ground entering the stretch, went to the inside midway of the stretch and tired in the drive. MILLEFIORE closed a big gap. The latter, much improved, began slowly, saved ground for three eighths, then went to the outside for the drive and was wearing down the winner. ROYAL PURCHASE saved ground throughout. JANE HASTINGS tired badly in the final eighth after being hustled into the early lead. SOCIALITE, fractious and starting from outside the stalls, raced on the outside all the way and tired. GALLOP ALONG, a factor from the start, was shuffled back entering the back stretch, saved ground entering the stretch and outfinished DUNNY BOY. The latter, .,4 mxo an early lead, set a good pace, but weakened in the drive. STORM ANGEL showed a good effort. LITTLE TURTLE had no excuses. The others were never prominent.
