The appeal which racing at Dayton has made, not only to the fans of this city and vicinity, but to racing associations, was shown recently when no less than eight different organizations made bids to the Montgomery County Agricultural Board for the use of the Fair Grounds. The Dayton Jockey Club, headed by prominent citizens -of Dayton, including Judge Roland W. Baggott and his son, Horace Baggott, were the successful bidders, and the appointment of George E.
