. LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Paul Keester has regained the top in the standing of American jockeys. He held this proud position for nearly a month earlier in the yaer, but a slump and the brilliant riding of Wayne Wright were too much for him to overcome, and Wright assumed the leadership. Keester, who will be idle until Fair Park at Dallas opens Thursday, has eighty-one winners to his credit, Wright having seventy-nine. In point of percentage they are tied at .23 each. R. Colpitts and J. Lynch shared last weeks riding honors with six winners each. Following are the records of the thirty leading American jockeys from January 1 up to and including the racing of last Sunday: Last Jockey. Mts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp.P.C Wk.
