PIMA GIRL came with a rush between horses in the stretch, went to the front entering the turn and, under a hard drive, lasted to win by a narrow margin. WISE ACE, off slowly, came from far back while fining the turn, closed very fast through the stretch and. would have won in a couple of more strides. ILVER CROWN raced steadily, on the rail on the turn, came fast when straightened into the stretch and was going well at the finish. SKEETER HAWK raced evenly throughout. EDNA R. closed some ground in ihe stretch. UNCLE GUS showed some early speed, but tired. MICKLE SPEED was forced into the inside fence midway of the stretch and fell. Ovcnveight-Pima Girl, 5 pounds. BONNIE BEACH, up with the pace all the way, was taken wide by SUDDEN CHANGE entering the stretch, came with a rush In the- middle of the track, but could not get to the winner.. QUICK SANTA, off slowly, steadily improved her position jounding the far turn, came through on the rail in the stretch and was going well at the finish, though no match for the winner. GEORGES HEIR raced to the front soon after the start, drew out to a length lead rounding the turn, but tired in the final drive. LA MASCOTA saved ground on the inside rail all the way, but tired in the last eighth. LAST EDITION raced up with the leaders for the first half mile, then tired. PRINCE MACAW, close up all the way, closed gamely in the stretch. WILLIE KLEIN, forced wide all the way, continued wide entering the stretch and, racing in the middle of the track through the stretch, could not get to the leaders. ALVISO, close up in the early part, tired slightly in the stretch run. DIRIGIBLE ran an even race. SEAFORD showed some early speed, but tired. ONWELL showed a dull effort. SETHS HOPE came through between horses on the far turn, was forced to take up entering the stretch, but came again in the last eighth and finished gamely. LADY RIAF, close up in the first half mile, came to the rail on the far turn and, getting through an opening entering the stretch, reached second place, but tired in the final drive. MAZOL, off slowly, steadily gained on the field, came through on the inside entering the stretch and finished strongly. WEE CHAP raced evenly throughout.
