RUSH SUFFOLK DOWNS WORK BOSTON, Mass., May 23. The construction of the Suffolk Downs race track in East Boston is moving along rapidly. The grandstand is nearly one story high. When the pile drivers finished their job over the six hundred yard strip on which the grandstand is located, the builders were able to do more. The work on the clubhouse will be started next Monday morning. The clubhouse will be one of the most pretentious in racing. The pile drivers are now working on the foundations for the paddock and administration buildings, and they expect to be finished by Saturday night. Ground for the stables is being graded, and within the next ten days the work of building them will be started.
