ARLINGTON DOWNS ASKS DATES FORT WORTH, Texas, May 23. Trav Daniel, business manager of the Texas Jockey Club at Arlington Downs, announced today that the Arlington association had applied to the Texas Racing Commission for fall dates, from October 25 to November 16, inclusive, a racing period of twenty-one days. These dates practically, duplicate those of last year when the fall meeting closed November 17. Alamo Downs, at San Antonio, recently applied for winter dates from January 1 to February 22.
