1 LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES $ . and Col. M. J. Winn, executive director at Churchill Downs, and C. Bruce Head left this afternoon by motor for French Lick Springs, where they will remain over the week-end, returning here Monday. Since returning here from Chicago this week Colonel Winn spent much time going over the improvements being installed at the Downs.
