- , ,... , . . . . MARCHBANK HANDICAP TODAY FEATURES TANFORAN FINALE .... .. . - - - - t SAN BRUNO, Calif., April 16. Can the Austin Taylor entry of Special Agent and Indian Broom take the measure of the mighty Seablscuit? That will be decided tomorrow afternoon when the trio meet in the 0,000 added Marchbank Handicap, feature of the closing days racing at Tanforan. Clockers reports have the three fit and ready and the weights seem to bring them together nicely. It should be a fine horse race. Seabiscuit must be on edge or he would not have been entered over night. Trainer Darrel Cannon will have no excuses if Sea-biscuit defeats his double-barreled entry. Special Agent is in the same excellent condition as when he won the Exposition Handicap last Saturday in near-record time, while Indian Broom, third in the Exposition has come up to his Marchbank Handicap engagement nicely. He whizzed five-eighths in :59 in a Friday morning trial. Eight horses in all have been named for the Marchbank Handicap, but at least three of them, appear to be outclassed. These seeming to have but little chance are Sobriety, Watersplash and Sir Oracle.
