INJURED JOCKEYS RECOVERING RECOVERINGChojnacki Chojnacki Martinez Thornton Stark and Burns Progressing After Caliente Accidents AGUA CALIENTE Mex May 17 Dr E Crabtree attending physician at Ellwynn Sanitarium reported today that jockeys Frank Chojnacki and Pablo Martinez are resting Well and were progressing as well as could be expected at this time Frank Chojnacki suffered a broken left wrist and a bruised shoulder Pablo Martinez suffered a slight concussion of the brain and has two broken ribs on his right side sideJockey Jockey Bert Thornton will also be on the shelf for some time when on examination at the hospital it was found that his right elbow was chipped W Stark has a broken collarbone and will be unable to ride for several weeks George Burns returned to the saddle Saturday after a rest of one day Burns twisted his right knee when Too Quick unseated him while at the post in the seventh race Thursday ThursdayLobitos Lobitos one of the horses that figured in the spill Friday during the running of the last race was destroyed
