PREDICTS LATONIA WILL BE EXCEPTIONALLY FAST TRACK LATONIA Ky May 18 Clifford Tucky Trimpe member of the clocking brigade at the Millsdale course and who has served in an official capacity at a number of tracks voiced an opinion to the effect that the La ¬ tonia course with the added sandy cushion will be one of the fastest tracks in America this year Trimpe bases his contention on the fact that several of the juveniles now quartered at the track in addition to several of the older horses have been turning in some sensational trials The track has been very slow for many years and the young official stated that it will be the fastest track since Sun Flag set a six furlongs rec ¬ ord of 109 during the summer meeting of 1924 He also added that the racing strip would be one of the safest to race over
