POMPOONS INJURY NEGLIGIBLE NEW YORK N Y May 18 J H Louch heims Pompoon which finished second to War Admiral in the Kentucky Derby and more recently in the Preakness Stakes ar ¬ rived at Belmont Park yesterday from Pim lico The colt suffered a minor injury in the running of Saturdays race a caulk bruise on his left hind foot Trainer Cyrus Field Clarke declared that the injury is not seri ¬ ous and will not prevent the colts starting in the Belmont Stakes on June 5 unless the condition is aggravated in the meantime
