MOVING INTO FAIR GROUNDS Steady Influx of Horses at Detroits Popular Track Starter Thomas Assistant Schooling Juve ¬ niles Daily Bain Horses Arrive From Toronto Canada DETROIT Mich May 19 With the steady flow of high class thoroughbreds into historic Fair Grounds the home of the De ¬ troit Racing Association is beginning to shape up as a real race track The stables of Marion Allen and H A Allen were un ¬ loaded yesterday and put away In Marion Allens string are some horses the property of R R Greenlee and B F Whittaker They include Fickle Chance Lolschen Trans Wynn Mere Frolic Rolls Nice Quasimodo Highomar Aurebon Brides Delight and Born Lucky LuckyH H A Allen brought in Maystick Speed Limit and Mad Bull BullWord Word was also received that the stable of P Robertson father of Alfy Robertson jockey of the Milky Way Stable arrived this morning with eleven head including among others Lynx Eye Word was also received that the F M Alger string in charge of Dr Copeland consisting of twelve head which includes Azucar and others also de ¬ trained this morning R Fischer is also due from California with four which includes Bal Ele EleThe The stable of Senator M E Casey of Kan ¬ sas City also arrived in charge of J C Cahn and were put away Senator Casey breeds his own horses at his farm on the Kaw River and will be here in person when the legislature in Missouri adjourns The sta ¬ bles of H K Barron Paul Kelley and Harry Trotsek trainer of the pretentious O F Woodward string will be here Saturday morning The Canadian contingent was further strengthened by an application from H R Bain of Toronto who has asked for fifteen stalls and will have some potential candi ¬ dates meetingEddie for some of the stakes at the meeting Eddie Thomas the starter who has been pinch hitting for Harry Morrissey at Agua Caliente while the latter is finishing out his work at Bay Meadows sent P E Noble one of his assistants to look after the school ¬ ing of young horses and arrangements have been made each morning to school from 7 to 9 oclock Thomas himself will arrive later in the week
