BOUQUET CLAIMING STAKES Claiming Stake at Belmont Park To ¬ day May Have Gross Value of 4300 if Fourteen Start NEW YORK N Y May 19 For a fea ¬ ture tomorrow afternoon the Westchester Racing Association will stage the Bouquet Claiming Stakes at Belmont Park It is a test of four and a half furlongs through the Widener course and with fourteen named through the entry box it will have a gross value postOf of 4300 should all go to the post Of those named Mrs Ethel D Jacobs is represented with two in Ed Sullivan and Gert B and they are both among the light weights the filly only taking up 101 pounds while Ed Sullivan carries 110 pounds Bold Turk which races for the Paragon Stable takes up the top weight of 122 pounds while Mrs Corning Parkers Down East and the Greentree Stables Airly Beacon each are in under 116 pounds while the others take up a lesser weight Most of those engaged in the Bouquet have already been shown under silks and there is every hope the renewal will be an excellent one It is a prize that dates back to the opening of Belmont Park in 1905 and one of the winners was Paul Jones who scored for Ral Parr and then went on the next year to win the Kentucky Derby
