RAIN VISrrS THtfRf CLIFFE Leaves Track Heavy for Thursdays ThursdaysRacing Racing Silver Jubilee Wins Race RaceMarred Marred by Accident TORONTO Ont June 3 With a pro ¬ gram of six claiming and one allowance affairs furnishing the sport for the third day of the spring meeting of the Thorn cliffe Racing and Breeders Association rains of the forenoon turned the track into a heavy condition but before noon the skies had cleared slightly and weather conditions were ideal for the sport sportThe The third event under allowance condi ¬ tions fashioned for threeyearolds foaled in the Dominion brought five of the better grade performers which were nominees of the Kings Plate to the start Eight were named but Goster Slim Salome and Jim mie Kirk were withdrawn An accident marred the running when soon after the start R W R Cowies Auld Reekie stum ¬ bled and threw his rider F Vallee but he escaped injury and walked back to the jockey quarters quartersSilver Silver Jubilee chestnut son of Marine and Silver Wedding racing for the Parkwood Stable accounted for the event in rather easy manner when he led from soon after the start to finish and had a four length lead before H C Hatchs Budron at the end of the seven furlongs M Keelings Sweepfast raced to third place six lengths back arid the same distance before H R Bains Daily Dozen and the remaining con ¬ testants
