ONHERALDEDWINS EASILY EASILYRegisters Registers Popular Win in Best Race Raceon on Agawams Featureless Card Eddie 0 Surprises SPRINGFIELD Mass June On a pro ¬ gram that was given over entirely to platers of the claiming ranks and featureless for the first time since the start of the meet ¬ ing Unheralded from the Mrs I H Veitch barn was winner of the best offering at Agawam Park when he defeated five other threeyearolds in the sixth race that was a test of six furlongs Ruling the better fan ¬ cied starter in the small field of useful sprinters and finding fancy over a racing strip that turned into a sloppy condition after rain fell after the third event the j threeyearold son of Canter and Unfurled i registered one of the easiest successes of the day and broke the streak of winning out j siders when he ran the distance in 115 to score by five lengths lengthsThe The triumph of Unheralded was the first for the Veitch colorbearer since his racing career and it was popular when he was Safely over the line before Justdun in the livery of Miss M McGee while third went to Casinghead veteran campaigner of the F L Flanders barn which easily took the measure of Lifelike Sir Isaac and Bred in Blue the only other starters Unheralded was handled by B Wimmer and from a good start had speed enough to lead the pursuit of Justdun which was sent out by G Rose to lead the way Justdun had smart speed to enjoy a clear lead in the early part of the race but Wimmer was saving Un 1 heralded as he led Casinghead and the others With a half mile back of them Justdun and the Veitch sprinter became en ¬ gaged at the stretch turn and during the last eighth Unheralded exerted his superior j ity to draw away into a long lead leadOutsiders Outsiders continued their march to victory in the fourth race that was a split of the third when in a bitterly waged finish May Music scored her initial victory to gain a camera verdict over Moonburn Third went to No Dust after he led the way until the final sixteenth then came Night Watch to take the measure of the others in the field of eleven starters May Music sported the silks of A Horowitz and from the begin ¬ ning raced along in second place lapped closely on No Dust
