! LATEST DERBY ODDS ! IN CARROLL BOOK h. . ST. LOUIS, Mo., April 12. Over thirty thoroughbreds have been liberally backed for the Kentucky Derby in James J. Carrolls St. Louis bodk. Nedayr was cut from 12 to 10 this week. Pat Nashs Dickerville was hammered from 100 down to 60 to 1. Gov. Chandler, third to Tiger and Silversmith in the Arkansas Derby, was backed from 60 down to 30; this colt opened at 200 to 1. Stands Alone, 300 to 1, was backed to 100. The heaviest play of the week centered on The Chief, stable companion of Stagehand. Several large commissions arrived from Los Angeles on the Maxwell Howard colt. Sun Egret, originally 40 to 1, has been pounded down to 12 tol. Sun Egret ran third to Stagehand and Dauber in the Santa Anita Derby.
