HORSES IN MOTOR ACCIDENT Six Horses Being Transported From Louisville to Keeneland Receive Minor Injuries in Mishap. LEXINGTON, Ky., April 12. Last Message, one of the three fillies eligible for the sixty-fourth Kentucky Derby; Bacon, Bill Donoghue, Navarre, Pompeian Way and Ker-may, the property of Mrs. Frank J. Navin, received cuts and bruises when a van which was transporting them from Louisville to Keeneland was in a motor accident within two miles of the Lexington track today. According to the driver of the van, a motorist coming in the opposite direction forced him to steer the van to the extreme outer edge of the road and, but for two sturdy oaks withstanding the impact, the van probably would have turned over. RUSHES TO SCENE. Frozen Mask and the two-year-olds Dru-selda, Shot Tower and Bilboquet, the latter a Lafayette Stakes candidate and also the property of Mrs. Navin, who races under the nom de course of the Tall Trees Stable, had preceded the other van to the track. Trainer Leo ODonnell, when informed of the wreck, rushed to the scene and, although a preliminary hasty examination made by Dr. Proctor revealed only minor injuries to the horses, ODonnell stated it probably will be several days before it would be determined whether any were of a serious nature. The horses have been training at Douglas Park and all were ready for competition. The van, one of the newest in its company service, had made only two previous trips here from Louisville.
