RECOVER PART OP STOLEN GEMS NEW YORK N Y Oct 26 Part of the 2000 in jewels stolen from the socially prominent Mrs Edward N Townsend were recovered yesterday as police intensified their search for George Fleming the chauf ¬ feur who had driven away with the gems in the Townsend limousine The car also waa recovered with five pearls on the rear floor as if dropped in the ruthless breaking o the string which held the gems In a pawn shop detectives found a valuable ring part of the Townsend jewelry which had been pawned for only 75 by a man who gave Flemings name and address James Clancy owner of a parking lot told police that Fleming accompanied by another man left the car there last night and had walked off with the leather jewel case under his
