Narrowly Separated for Minor Spoils PAWTUCKET R I Nov 4 Galadore coupled in the betting with Carbeck as the Sanford Stud Farms entry scored over the field of sprinters in the Arlington Purse fifth and feature on the afternoons program J I Labelles Septlme was a length and a half off the winner at the finish and a neck in front of J Emerys Taken and W F Mannaghs Chief Nadi which finished noses apart in the order named Galadore turned in an excellent effort in winning covering the six furlongs in 111 111Miss Miss Harriet was first to show in front She opened up a big lead going down the back stretch making the far turn three lengths to the good with Warlaine in second place a neck in front of Chief Nadi with Galadore racing far back Miss Harriet con ¬ tinued to show her speed and rounding the turn into the home stretch was still in front by two lengths with Warlaine hanging on tenaciously to be in front of Chief Nadi Galadore by this time had worked his way to fourth position Ronnie Nash then swung to the middle of the track and let out all loops on the Gallant Fox gelding He bounded into his best stride in a couple of strides and closing got up to take the lead nearing home and then opened up at will Septime closed well through the stretch run to earn second position by a neck while Taken which had been racing far back got up in time to outlast Chief Nadi for the show Holluschickie went into the lead He had to be hard driven however to stave off the determined closing bid of Bobs Boys the latter being only half a length back at the finish while Billy Van Nuys was crowd ¬ i ed out of the money by the late burst of OBantam
