pressure gamely after reaching the stretch and was getting to the winner TACK POINT well up in the early stages and kept in hand for a half mile was inclined to swerve when punished then failed to hold his position on the stretch turn but closed fairly well LAZARUS saved much ground gave way suddenly approaching the stretch and was not dangerous thereafter BLACK CRUSADE closed well FLORA SPAN
