POSITIVE TEST ON DOGGEREL Purse Won July 7 at Fort Erie Taken TakenAway Away Owner Trainer Groom Groomand and Horses Suspended FORT ERIE Ont July 10 On a positive report by the Independent Canadian Racing Association analyst Dr G H W Lucas of the saliva test on the horse Doggerel owned by A J Sansone and winner of the sixth race at Fort Erie on Friday July 7 trainer A T Sansone and the groom Nicholas Julius have been suspended by the Fort Erie stewards until the next meeting of the Independent Canadian Racing Association committee The four horses in charge of trainer Sansone have also been suspended until the Independent Canadian Racing As ¬ sociation meeting They are Doggerel Royal Vintage Grand Dame and Stimulette StimuletteDoggerel Doggerel has been disqualified as the win ¬ ner of the race in question and the race awarded to the second horse Coligny The other horses have been moved up leaving the official placing as follows 1 Coligny J H B Stable 2 Primbud A J LaBelle 3 Van Nuys C S Madison and 4 Kibitzer 1 F T Butler ButlerSigned Signed W A HEWITT J P McINERNEY McINERNEYStewards Stewards
