daughter of Wise Counsellor and Locust Moss racing in the silks of Mrs Edward McCuan raced to a nose vic ¬ tory in the six furlongs of the Dominion Handicap feature attraction at the Detroit Fair Grounds today Miss Louise Vimonts Burgoo Miss earned second honors and was a neck before Peterson Childs Stem Winder who downed the ten other starters for minor honors Epidor and Aerial Bomb both of whom were stoutly supported fin ¬ ished fourth and thirteenth respectively respectivelyWise Wise Moss picked up her impost of 103 pounds which included jockey George King who was completing a double and gave a sterling performance to account for the top offering At the start which was a good one Wise Moss broke fourth and in the run down the back stretch was well placed while Burgoo Miss and Darby Dienst bat ¬ tled for the early lead At the upper turn Burgoo Miss disposed of Darby Dienst and Wise Moss then began her bid bidTurning Turning into the stretch Burgoo Miss still held a short
