THREE BIG STABLES ARRIVE AT FAIRMOUNT PARK SWELL HORSE COLONY AT COLLINSVILLE OVAL OVALLe Le Mar Shipment of Sixteen Head Arrives as Well as Strings of Al Gaal and Odie Clelland ClellandCOLLINSVILLE COLLINSVILLE 111 May 24 Three big stables unloaded this morning at Fairmount Park to await the opening of the twenty seven days of racing which will be ushered in at the local track next Friday The larg ¬ est establishments to find stabling accom ¬ modations were tht sixteen head J P Keezek brought from Chicago for the Le Mar Stock Farm stable maintained by Leo J Marks Ohio breeder and Al Gaal in charge of a public stable in which nine head were for the Chicagoowned Montell Stable and one each for Bert Stewart J E Mahoney and D F Duncan The third shipment to check in was the one in charge of Odie Clelland who brought the horses of Mrs R J Mur ¬ phy and Miss Susan E Kellogg from Churchill Downs DownsThe The Le Mar shipment was headed by Matchup and Midair which were nomi ¬ nated by Keezek for the Memorial Day Handicap six furlongs feature on opening day and Might Step a winner of four races this year who was nominated for the hand ¬ icap to be contested the second day of the session and which will be run over the one mile route Included in the unit was the mare Millie M a full sister to Roman Sol ¬ dier The daughter of CohortMiamba has not raced since 1938 and according to Keezek the veteran mare a winner as a two and threeyearold is taking her train ¬ ing well and should she continue to train satisfactorily will be under colors at the local track in two weeks Others making the trip from Sportsmans Park were Mas ¬ culine Marclaire Mere Silver Must Go Man ¬ date Mernasan Meanwhile More Days MiDue Maddy Cat Mention and Mammoth MammothTO TO RIDE LE MAR RACERS RACERSJohnny Johnny Glaug former contract rider for the Bomar Stable has been signed by Keezek to handle the Le Mar horses during the Fairmount Park session sessionThe The Montell Farm horses Gaal unloaded were Scolene Byrdson Virginette Tomye Briery Memory Chair and the twoyearolds Mill dOr a daughter of Byrd Tates Boy by Good Goods and Zuttee Boy a colt by Eternal Quick Getaway the property of Beit Stewart Montell who sports the silks of J E Mahoney and D F Duncans West chester made up the balance of the Gaal charges chargesArriving Arriving in advance of the older members of the MurphyKellogg stable were the two yearplds Erlas Image Midnight Sue Three Shadows Winterset and Pear Eater The juveniles were in charge of Malcoln Diipuy while Odie Clelland supervised the unload ¬ ing of Imeblue Roaming Again Low Hat Three Clovers Thos and Kitche Manitou
