JOCKEY THOMAS FOWLER DIES DIESMONTREAL MONTREAL Que June 27 Jockey Thomas Fowler who had came to Can ¬ ada to ride at the Kings Park meeting passed away at the residence of Mrs Ford of 65 Principal Street Montreal Fowler came to Quebec less than two weeks ago to prepare for the opening of the Canadian Quebec season and after suffering a short illness died Thursday afternoon The parents of the late jockey Fowler are residents of Wash ¬ ington D C anil he is survived by his wife and son who are believed to be in New York city Relatives of the de ¬ ceased are requested to get in touch with James Phalen at Kings ParR Mon ¬ treal at once He last rode at Charles Town before coming to Canada and was to have ridden as a free lance
