Empire City Will Stage Its Meeting at Jamaica Track TrackAQUEDUCT AQUEDUCT L I N Y June 15 The Empire City Racing Associa ¬ tion will hold its summer meeting1 at tle Jamaica race track on Longr Island The change was made offi ¬ cially today in an announcement by Herbert Bayard Swope chairman of the New York State Racing Commis ¬ sion following a meeting of the turf commission which approved the shift in dates requested by the directors of the Yonkers course courseThe The Empire meeting begins on Monday June 28 and concludes on Saturday July 24 The change is due mainly to the part thoroughbred rac ¬ ing is playing in the governments campaign to save gasoline and rub ¬ ber Transportation facilities to the Yonkers race course are not so good as to the Jamaica track which is well situated in this respect
