Col. Voorhees Due Today HOMEWOOD, 111., June 27. Col. Marion I. Voorhees, of the U. S. Remount Service, is due tomorrow from Lexington and while at Washington Park will inspect a number of stallions with a view toward their purchase by the government. Colonel Voorhees said the government is interested primarily in stallions between the ages of four and eight years of uniformly good conformation. He said horses of the blocky rather than the leggy type are preferable.
