The latter, slow to begin and badly outrun during the first three-eighths, came to the inside for the drive and closed with a rush. ON HIGH could not better hr position when hard urged through the stretch. DAVIES SISTER took command earlv, made the pace to the final eighth, then sweryed repeatedly when tiring. GOLFO saved ground when outrun to the stretch, came between horses when set down for the drive and closed stoutly in a good effort. MISS VAL raced evenly and had no mishaps.
