SISTER HIGHER outsprinted the opposition, saved ground while .drawing off, was urged in the drive and outlasted CLOUDY WEATHER. The latter moved with a rush in the drive, was in somewhat close in the final strides and finished strongly. HERMINA B. reached the pace from the outside, could not wear the winner down, but held on doggedly. DEVELOPER made up ground in the drive. KISS KISS raced forwardly, but could not menace. GOLD - BETTY broke well, but could not keep up, FLASH TOWN quit. SILVER ACE had some brief speed. Overweight Ebony Bee, 2. pounds. WAVECAP moved up fast rounding the far turn, profited when LORRAINE CROSS swerved entering the stretch and drew "away. BAYTREE BOMBER, unable to threaten early, rushed up entering the stretch, but could not cope with the winner. LORRAINE CROSS saved ground early while attempting to shake off MARSAIAH, swung wide on the far turn and had nothing left when the winner challenged. DICK RICHARDS had no mishaps. DARBY DIPLOMAT, well handled and restrained while setting the pace, saved ground throughout and had enough left to draw away in the drive. BILLIES CHOICE came forward on the outside rounding the far turn, appeared as though moving to the winner, but was not quite good enough. BAUMBACH, in close rounding the far turn, dropped back, then came again in the stretch. HASTY CHANCE rushed forward at the thrce-eichths marker, then hung. MOSSY LAKE could not keep up.
